The version 10 of the famous Hakkapeliitta by Nokian - the Hakkapeliitta 10 - was launched in 2021. It ensures optimal grip on snowy or icy surfaces, superb driving comfort, both on roads and trails, while respecting the environment.
The Hakkapeliitta 10 is a studded tire equipped with "Double Stud" technology, which involves strategically placing studs in the center of the tread for grip during acceleration or braking, and on the shoulders to improve grip during turns or sudden changes in direction or lanes; the tire and its studs' lifespan is ensured by the Eco Stud 10 concept (an additional rubber layer and a special cushion are present at the base of the stud).
The tread pattern is in the classic "V" shape, directional, highly grooved for perfect stability on melting snow. The rubber compound is innovative to adapt to the wide range of winter temperatures; it of course offers low rolling resistance for better fuel economy and improved acoustic comfort.
