The VI-686 AT is Ovation's "All Terrain" offering, an all-terrain tire that "goes off the beaten path" with its literally "clawed" profile. The wide claw marks present across the entire tread surface up to the shoulders ensure very good off-road traction performance - they provide both the expected bite and efficient evacuation of stones, mud and debris - while still allowing for some comfort on the road.
