The Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 is designed for high performance sports vehicles, sports saloons, premium compact and sports coupes. The "nanoBlend" rubber compound includes a mix of many polymers. I have been using them on my cars for some time. Very good tyres, good grip, not very noisy and I don't notice any difference in fuel consumption.
Ride comfort and road handling are top-notch, the rest to follow.
First time testing these tyres, having had Nankang NSII just before (a sub-brand of Yokohama) I suppose these should be just as good. We'll see about the durability of the Yokohama because the Nankang wore out super fast. In comparison and in the same range, it seems that the Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 are better on dry roads and worse in the rain compared to the Uniroyal Rainsport 5, which are better in the rain but not as good on dry roads and which I've had on many of my vehicles. After 1 month of use and at least 2500 km travelled, I find the grip on dry/wet roads particularly good. This tyre is really not bad.
Durability is 3 because we do not know yet.
