classic tyre for a classic English motorcycle from the early fifties. Nice look. Aston Martin 1930s look. Perfect for leisurely rides on winding main roads through the landscape of southern Netherlands, Flanders, the Blue Ardennes, Northern and Central France. Due to the many bends, the tyre stays nicely round. In the past, the Avons MKII's were, in my opinion, stiffer and heavier and had an endless lifespan. But they are still good, though they wear out faster. I think they are great, but a friend of mine doesn't like them at all. To each their own opinion. Do take a lot of bends; not too much on the straight stretch and with the right tyre pressure.
