The Metzeler Karoo Street is characterized by a multi-radius profile with a wider and longer contour to increase the ground contact area and thus improve grip and stability even during tilts. The height of the shape has been significantly increased to enhance shock absorption and comfort.

Driving the tyre for the first time. Therefore, I cannot provide any further details yet. For the first few miles, I was already impressed!
The Karoo Street is a good tyre for a small road intermediate and light dry off-road. Like all tyres with a "block" profile, its grip on wet roads is not the same as simple road tyres. But nonetheless, the tyre holds the road well.
The 3rd Karoo Street for me, performs excellently due to good cornering behavior. Amazing how easily the motorcycle leans in the corners, a 10 for "twisties". And you can also take it on unpaved paths, sufficient grip except in loose sand, then you really need coarse knobs. However, little grip on wet roads + the tire makes a lot of noise at certain speeds (but much less than coarse knobs). Wears out quickly, I drive quite economically (consumption 1:20 on the Africa Twin) and yet worn out within 10,000 km. Regarding bandenleader: delivered within 1 week, very competitively priced and recent DOT code, next time again!
Comfortable, good transmission safety, low noise, average for off-road. Not tested in wet conditions. Very satisfactory price-quality ratio. I recommend.
Price-performance ratio is good, wear is higher than Michelin Anakee Adventure or Conti TKC. Rolling noise/vibrations are very strong from 130, but acceptable for this version.
Good tyre and good grip, however between 90 and 120 km/h they make a lot of noise, a high-pitched whistling sound.
