Michelin launched many new products in 2020, having introduced its brand new range of Power sports tires and its City Grip 2 scooter tires, the French manufacturer also renewed its custom offerings with the launch of the Commander III.
The successor to the Commander II, the Commander III has been divided into two variants to better meet customer needs, with a Cruiser version for models of this type and a Touring version for vehicles intended for tourism. The two versions of the new Commander are easily identifiable with their distinct design.
The features presented by the two custom tires are quite similar, starting with the great durability that had already made their predecessor famous and which is further extended here.
It is the use of a 100% silica compound that has improved road holding on wet surfaces, and on the Cruiser model, also a notch surface 3% larger than that of the Commander II.
Finally, as the appearance of the tire is also an important criterion on customs, the Commander III benefits from Premium Touch Technology for most dimensions: this is a new laser marking process to highlight the sidewall molds.
