I replaced the original with an identical one because I find it to be an excellent tire. It is perfect on mountain roads because it has excellent grip in curves and also allows for off-road routes (without exaggerating); ideal for those who enjoy riding the motorcycle a bit everywhere.
Great tyre for Austrian enduro riders. When you can go off-road: excellent. Mostly you ride on the road and here too: excellent. The best all-purpose tyre for heavy enduro riders. There are better off-road tyres, there are better road tyres, but if you only need to buy one tyre: Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR!
The tyres appear old with rusty inner tube valves.
Tyres purchased (140 and 90) for mixed use, but I don't have the best of both worlds. On the road, there remains a vagueness when leaning into corners and in fast curves. Although I've never found the grip lacking, whether in dry or wet conditions. It's just the vague feeling that's disturbing compared to a road trail tyre. Off-road, you'll have to stick to paths, which road tyres also do very well. So, I find no advantage to this setup. You'll need more knobbly tyres for off-road, and more road-oriented tyres for the road. In conclusion, it's neither good nor bad, just suited to nothing.
Excellent tyre, which ensures a confident drive. It is not an all-terrain tyre, it performs very well on dry ground, but it quickly reaches its limits on muddy terrain. A bit noisy, but that's just nitpicking.
I bought this tyre on recommendation. I was very surprised at what the tyre can do! It grips very well in the dry and shows hardly any weaknesses in the wet. You can also make good progress on dry gravel. I have driven about 5500km with this tyre in 14 days and it still has a good amount of tread left. What you should know, however, is the loud rolling noise, which is due to the tread pattern. You should also be cautious at first when leaning for the first time. The tyre just tips in (because of the blocks), which can lead to a brief moment of shock. Once you get past that, it runs smoothly!
Excellent tyres. They arrived a couple of days after ordering. I ordered the tyres in January 2025 and the production date is September 2024. I will definitely order again from this site.
The best tyre for my GS and mixed road use and more. Certainly noisier than a 100% road tyre, but still well equipped for a detour into nature. Its road handling is on par with a sport tyre. On nature trails, everything works well if the terrain is dry. Highly recommended!
Excellent all-purpose tyre, although obviously on asphalt it has limitations compared to a road tyre, and the same goes for off-road use.
A tyre that fits very well on a trail, corners well with good grip and goes over road imperfections without transferring discomfort to the handlebars. It makes some rolling noise between 60 and 80 km/h and after 110 km/h.
